Cummins Crankcase Filters
A coalescer element assembly listed for 2010 Cummins ISX and ISM engines. Fit depends on the build, the breather arrangement and the number on the old element.
The CV50634 is a rectangular coalescer element that seats into the crankcase ventilation housing. It separates oil mist from blow-by so oil drains back and gas leaves the crankcase. Listings describe two attached perimeter seals.
The system label isn’t settled. Cummins-side listings describe open crankcase ventilation (OCV); many resellers call the same element a CCV filter. Those are different venting arrangements, so confirm which one your engine uses.
Provide the engine maker, model and full serial or build number. The model name alone does not confirm fitment.
Confirm whether the engine uses open crankcase ventilation or a closed crankcase ventilation system. The same element is sold under both labels, but the housing must match.
Send the full number printed on the removed element, including any suffix. If the records disagree, send all of them for review.
We publish only the fields that agree across listings. Dimensions, weight and efficiency figures conflict between sellers, so they are withheld and confirmed against the manufacturer specification for your build. Not sure which number you have? Send the old element details for checking.

Lists differ between sellers, and the Cummins numbers are assigned differently from one list to the next. A cross-reference is a shortlist, not a statement of equivalence. Verify a number with the filter lookup; quality control covers pre-shipment checks.
Cummins ISX 15.0 / ISM
Applications are engine-led: trucks, buses, motorhomes, generator sets and plant. Some fitment databases also list ISB and ISC; confirm those on the engine’s own record, not a seller’s list.
ISB and ISC listings need the engine’s own record, not a reseller’s catalogue.
We check each line against the parts record and breather arrangement, then state the offered item, maker, complete number, quantity and delivery terms.
No real-time stock feed is published. Send a multi-engine parts list if this is one line of several.
Request a QuoteSources disagree. Cummins-side listings call it OCV; many resellers call the same element a CCV filter. Confirm the breather arrangement and old number before choosing a label.
Earlier and later references in the same family. Upgrading a CV50633 installation is reported to need the CV50638 retrofit kit, so confirm the housing before substituting.
Fleetguard-side listings say it does. Treat that as a supersession to confirm against the build record, not proof that the earlier element will simply interchange.
4312013 is most often cited. 4312011 and 3685528 also appear, so check the build record rather than choosing from a list.
The service element assembly. The housing and any additional gasket kit are separate. Reuse the housing and confirm the seals.
Send the engine model, build number, breather arrangement and the number printed on the old element.
We will confirm the offered item, maker, complete number and terms.
